Artist's Comments

This pencil sketch was done near the very end of 2001. It is particularly interesting to me, because this drawing was done entirely in a darkened room without me being able to see the paper or image I was creating with any but the most vague sense. The face in the image thus created actually looks a lot happier than I felt at the time I was drawing it...
