Artist's Comments

This is the first drawing I did after graduating from high school, with my shiny new Rapidograph pen set. Check out the info on Alien and Azathoth I for the whole rundown on that particular subject. After I drew this, I was shopping around to perhaps get into doing comic books professionally. A character based on this drawing was supposed to be the central figure in one of those super-hero Gen13-type comics being developed by an independent label... Nothing ever came of it, though - mostly because I got a very bad vibe from the publisher.
