This drawing was inspired by my all-night stay in a real haunted house with a psychic-investigator and a few friends. This wasn't some kind of fun-house kind of set up, we were tagging along with Fanny (the psychic) to help her find out why this house was being haunted - the woman who owned the place would not even go near it, she handed us the keys in an entirely different village and took off. It was a bit like an episode of Scooby Doo, and we were the Mysteries Inc. gang - except that there weren't any old geezers we could unmask at the end. A lot of really freaky stuff went on, and none of us slept for about 24 hours before, during, and after our stay there. This drawing is based loosely on the appearance of a Bible that I found in the basement, shortly after I found the records of all the people who had died in the place (it had apparently been an Old Folks' Home at one point).
